 Fixture Design

This project is to create a fixture design using standard fixture elements to hold compononts for machining operations. The CAD model a piece which is fixed in a position to be used in a 3 axis CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machine.
Software: Solidworks

List of components:
  • Module Base (CL2024-RTPM-40);
  • Aluminium Block (130 x 85 x 70 mm);
  • Sacrifical Plate;
  • Clamp (41890 Push-Pull Toglge Clamps);
  • Locators ( CL-7-SCB);
  • Slotted set screw flat point (ISO) x 4;
  • Slotted cheese head screws (ISO) x2;
  • Final product.
For this fixture design, three different setups was used to cnc the product.
